Manager of Parks and Arenas: Andrew Morton

The Manager of Parks and Arenas is responsible to oversee and be responsible for the management and operation of:

Arenas
Parks
Vacant Land
Cemeteries

The County of Prince Edward manages and operates two arena facilities. The Prince Edward Community Centre (PECC) is located in Picton and the Wellington and District Community Centre is located in Wellington.

Parks consist of 37 active park sites throughout the County within the 10 wards and represents 180 acres of land. These active park locations support many County wide Special events each year. The parks system also provides sport fields consisting of baseball diamonds, soccer fields, tennis courts. Many locations have waterfront access for launching boats, fishing, swimming, picnicking and just enjoying the fantastic views.

The Millennium Trail spans 49 km beginning in Carrying Place to Picton. The trail is an important off-road connection that links residents and communities along the entire corridor length. The trail receives good use by snowmobiles, ATV riders and hikers.

The County is responsible for 50+ Pioneer Cemeteries located throughout the County. Through the Parks and Arenas section, the County manages 5 active cemeteries
