Deputy Engineer: position vacant

This division of Public Works reviews and provides comments regarding traffic, water/wastewater service and drainage issues for all planning applications. 

It conducts field reviews and comments on consents and zoning applications and, in cooperation with the Planning and Building Services Department, prepares subdivision agreements, site plan agreements and reviews and approves all engineering design drawings for subdivisions and site plans.

It administers Subdivision Agreements to ensure that all servicing works (roads, sidewalks, sewer, watermains) are constructed to County standards and recommends acceptance to Council and approve certification for new subdivision.
