Building Activity Up

Recently, building activity has risen dramatically. Building permits have been running at record levels for several consecutive years as industry expands, commercial enterprises grow, new homes are being built and century homes and historic buildings refurbished. Economic development and building officials predict the acceleration in activity will level off but sustain at near record levels over the medium term.
