Canine Control/By-law Enforcement

The County of Prince Edward Canine Control Department administers the Canine Control By-law and By-law Enforcement.
The Canine Control Office is open from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Monday to Saturday or by appointment. Canine Control/By-law Enforcement Officers are on duty from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily. They are on call for emergencies 24 hours a day.

Dog Tags are required for all dogs in the County of Prince Edward and are to be renewed by the 31st of March of each year. They are available for pick-up at the following locations:

Kennel licences, Sporting Dog Licences, and Pitbull Dog Tags are available from the Canine Control Office only.
Dog tags can also be ordered through the mail using the Dog Tag Licence Application Form link at the right.
