Government

The County of Prince Edward is a single tier government, the smallest in the Province of Ontario. In 1997 the ten former towns, townships and villages merged with the then upper tier County to become the current municipality.

We utilize the Committee of the Whole system and citizen sub-committees to manage the workload generated by the wide range of services we provide which include:
