PROPERTY TAX Estimator

How property tax bills are calculated:

Property taxes are calculated by multiplying the assessed value of the property by the applicable tax rate for the specific tax class. In addition, special area charges and local improvement charges may apply. Although the County does not generate any additional tax revenues from new assessments, properties will experience a municipal tax increase if their assessment change is higher than the County-wide average. Properties will have a municipal tax decrease when their property assessment change is lower than the County-wide average.
