Services

Accomodation
Rooms are tastefully laid out in order to provide privacy and accommodate personal items. Large windows in basic, semi-private, and private rooms allow residents to view the extensive, well-manicured grounds with courtyards, gazebo and pathways.
Daily and monthly rates are regulated by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care.
There is also a Palliative Care Suite provided for Residents and family members should the need arise.

Nursing Services
We employ Registered Nurses, Registered Nursing Assistants and Personal Support Workers. Nursing care is available 24 hours a day.

Medical Care
The Home has a Medical Director who oversees all matters related to medical care.
Residents, whenever possible, continue to receive medical care by the attending physician of their choice.

Dietary Services
The Home provides nutritionally sound, home-cooked meals three times a day plus in-between meal snacks.
All menus and nutritional needs of our Residents are reviewed and monitored by our in-house Dietician and Nutritional Manger.
Come and enjoy a “Fine Dining Experience” in our attractive dining rooms.
Family members or friends may join the Residents to enjoy a meal for a nominal charge.

Programs
The Programs Department provides leisure/recreational opportunities with a broad variety of programs, activities and new experiences.
The Program Department also employs rehabilitative staff who are involved in many therapies as well as gait training, walking programs, passive and active exercises and fun & fitness classes.

Physiotherapy
The Home has a Physiotherapist and Physiotherapist Assistant provided by Active Management who access Residents on a continuing basis, and oversees their physiotherapy needs.

Other Services
Housekeeping, laundry, personal labeling of clothing, maintenance, pharmacy, laboratory services and foot care.

Amenities (on a fee for service basis)
Barber/Hairdresser on site, tuck shop, cable television, telephone, dry cleaning, dental service, taxi and wheelchair accessible bus.

Quinte Health Care Prince Edward Memorial Hospital is also located just minutes away from the Home.
