The Human Resources department is located on the lower level, Shire Hall, Picton.
Human Resources provides administrative services to and consultation on relevant matters to Council and departments of the County of Prince Edward. Areas covered are labour relations, performance management, attendance management, corporate health, training and development, human rights, health and safety, benefits/services and recruitment and selection.

The Human Resources department co-ordinates recruitment on behalf of all departments in the municipality. Candidates are requested to apply to job opportunities by submitting a cover letter and resume.
Summer student positions are posted on our municipal website by April of each year. Student vacancies advertised c/o the Student Services Centre, HRDC, Main Street Picton and our local County newspapers. All student placements are advertised through student job centres at Loyalist, St. Lawrence and Fleming Colleges and Queen’s University.
