The Corporate Services and Finance Department provides support services, financial advice and expertise to Council and the Corporation through the Clerk’s Office, Human Resources, Information Technology, Purchasing and Treasury.

The services provided to the public include Land Ambulance service, Fire, H.J. McFarland Memorial Home for the Aged, Provincial Offences Administration and Marriage and Lottery Licensing.

The Commissioner is also responsible for managing the long term strategic and financial planning of the corporation and works closely with the CAO on long term planning issues. 

WHAT’S NEW:

Development Charges
Effective March 11, 2008 the County of Prince Edward imposed a uniform development charge on lands within its boundaries, payabale upon the issuance of a Building Permit.  The funds from the new charges will be placed in reserve funds to assist in paying for capital costs associated with growth and development.
